An interview on TV Creta and on SKAI Kritis 92,1 FM radio, was given by Dr Emmanouil Kabourakis, coordinator of the LIFE IGIC project, discussing the importance of sustainable farming practices and biodiversity conservation, for a better climate change adaptation in olive orchards. Dr. Kabourakis highlighted the challenges that olive orchards are facing, by prolonged droughts and heavy rainfalls in Crete. He gave an emphasis on the importance of minimum soil disturbance and Green Infrastructure (GI) development, for climate change impacts mitigation in olive orchards.
