Life IGIC participated at the 4th ESP Europe Conference, held in Heraklion, Greece, 10-14 October 2022. Two oral presentations with the titles “Improving ecosystem services, connectivity, and biodiversity of olive orchards with green infrastructure and sustainable farming practices, in Crete, Greece” and “Green infrastructure and sustainable farming practices effect on flora diversity and provision of related agroecosystem services in olive orchards, in Crete, Greece” were done by Dr. E. Kabourakis and I. Zografakis, respectively. Aims and goals of the Life IGIC project as well as actions implemented during the project in the pilot olive orchards were presented as well as data investigating the effect of the agroecological zone and sustainable olive management practices on the flora diversity of the olive groves.
