Establishment of stone walls in the project’s pilot olive groves took place during the April 2022. The establishment of stone walls aims to conserve biodiversity in the olive grove agroecosystem by providing shelter to wild fauna like reptiles, micromammals and arthropods. Moreover, establishment of plastic basins to create small artificial ponds in each of the project’s olive groves locations, further enhance the survival of wild fauna of olive groves especially during summer period.
